Paranoia,
As you submerge and endure the panic beneath the surface of a lake of glass,
Who shall cast the stones to break the silent screams or is it you that will begin to crack?
You find solace
While floating within the waters that burn you now.
Though you find peace
While drowning in flames,
Despite such pain you don't make a sound.
It's time to lift you up,
To see how many times that you will fall.
If the mire is to catch you,
Will you asunder or will you crawl?
I have felt your nonrhythmic pulse.
We could remain out of sight,
I feel you trembling,
Fear is in your eyes.
I am hearing those shrilling cries,
That breaks even your fragile heart.
I am feeling those lips coated in blood,
From below to here, so afar.
All from the depths of these wounds,
These arms hold the ghost of you,
The moonlight glistens the mist,
Masking shadow's image with exquisite doom.
The crystalized tears,
Of salt and shame.
All for the wish,
Of dreaming to awake.
Do you feel so low?
Is it more dim below?
As you submerge and endure the panic beneath the surface of a lake of glass,
Who shall cast the stones to break the silent screams or is it you that will begin to crack?
Though you find peace
You're drowning in flames.
